FAQ about JAE

JAE FAQ

Here's the answers to the most common questions about JAE, but if you have any questions that aren't covered below, please email info@jae-show.co.uk

Can clubs access the site on Thursday morning to drop off their club equipment before going to the Track Day at Snetterton? Yes - we will have a dedicated area inside the exhibition hall where you can drop off your equipment before going to Snetterton. You will be provided a ticket (like a cloakroom ticket) which you will need to provide when you return later that day to collect your items.

Do children need a ticket? Kids under 14 can come along to JAE completely Free of Charge for the whole weekend as long as they are accompanied by an adult. They do not require an advance ticket. Young children can be given a wrist band with parent/guardian contact details in case they get lost whilst on site. These are available from either security or the JAE admin office.

I have additional needs and require a carer with me. We want to make sure that EVERYBODY gets the best experience whilst at JAE. Guests who have the following documentation are entitled to one free carer ticket and a second carer at half price. However, the guest with the disability and any further members of their party will pay full price. Please email a copy of the relevant paperwork to info@jae-show.co.uk to request your tickets.

  1. Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance award letter (dated within the last 12 months).
  2. Personal Independence Payment letter (dated within the last 12 months).
  3. A current and valid Blue Badge.
  4. Letter from GP or consultant (dated within the last 12 months) confirming the need for a full time carer. This does not need to be a letter of diagnosis.
Unfortunately we will not be able to issue carers tickets without seeing the above documentation. You can also purchase tickets at the gate and present this documentation, but this will be at the gate-ticket price, rather than the advanced purchase discounted rate.

Can clubs buy tickets at a discount? YES! Clubs reps will be sent a discount code that will give a 10% discount on purchases of 10 or more tickets.

Are petrol generators allowed on site? Yes, but within the restrictions set out by the H & S officer for the event. This relates to noise levels, safety testing and location. More info relating to these restrictions will be made available in the run up to the event.

Can we have the time of events and map with locations? Showguides are free for everyone at JAE. They are available on the gate and in the admin office. Please come and grab some for your club stand.

Can I bring my non-Japanese car into the show? JAE does allow non-Japanese vehicles into the show, but we don't want our JAPANESE car show to have lots of non-Japanese cars or vans on site. Therefore, club plots are limited to a maximum of one non-Japanese vehicle per plot allocation. I.e. If you have purchased multiple plots to accommodate your club, you may still only have ONE non-Japanese vehicle. One Club = One support vehicle. Reps will be able to request support vehicle passes after 1st April 2019 by emailing info@jae-show.co.uk

Can I bring my Dog/Hamster/Giraffe to JAE? Well behaved pets are very welcome at JAE! Please make sure you keep your pet on a lead and clean up if they poop! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DOG TO JAE.
